‘Secret Millionaire’ Shows Us That Not All TV Is Bad

I’ve been watching Secret Millionaire since it premiered last Sunday, and I feel like all of my reality shows sins have been washed away.  Amidst an ocean of bad television, I sat down to watch Millionaire as a way to convince myself that not all reality shows are bad.

The series follows millionaires who go undercover in poverty-stricken cities around America.  They spend a week or so with different charities and people trying to improve their communities.  At the end of each show, the millionaire reveals his or herself and hands over a check to those deserving organizations and individuals. I’ve cried every episode so far, and it’s only going to get more emotional.  There is good out there, it’s just not on Bravo.

Secret Millionaire airs Sundays at 8pm on ABC.
