Why, seasons greetings to you! In anticipation of the most wonderful time of the year, I invite you to watch one of the greatest Christmas songs EVER. Put together by Bob Geldof and Midge Ure in 1984, Band Aid’s “Do They Know It’s Christmas” was put together to raise money for famine relief in Ethiopia. Sting, Bono, Simon Le Bon, Boy George and a host of other British and Irish talent were on-hand to sing for a cause.
Please note not only a drum-banging Phil Collins, but the cigarette smoke rising at minute 2:59. Totally eighties.
