The Hills came to a close last night, and I supposed it was a good way to wrap things up. Boy, those cats really got us in the end! I was perplexed by Lo‘s boyfriend’s fauxprosal, Audrina‘s urge to move away from Hollywood, and Stephanie‘s stage-five clinginess with her new boyfriend (Seriously, let go of the poor bastard).
After the episode ended, I sat on my parents’ couch for a good 30 seconds before my friend, Colleen, filled me in on the meaning of it all:
“They basically said at the end ‘we’ve been f**king with you for the last 4 years.’”
So the entire time America has been complaining about how unrealistic and scripted The Hills is, the producers devised this ending? So sneaky! I was wondering how Kristin would pull off a European time-out when she loves the cameras far too much to disappear. And Audrina move out of Hollywood? How the sod would she manage to stay relevant if she did such a thing?
Colleen, an avid Laguna and Hills watcher (and my go-to when reality shows get the best of me) was ready to discuss the end of an era (I can’t type that with a straight face).
“My husband did say, ‘If they put Kristen Cavallari on The City even I would watch it.’”

I actually had to have a friend explain to me what the sod was going on! Soooo, now everyone's lives are up in the air? Do we really know if Lo and her boyfriend are actually engaged or if Audrina really lives in Hermosa Beach?
Audrina looked super thin at the after party. All I wanted to do was feed her a hamburger. Her dress was pretty tho.
Lo-I didn't like the dress or the hair.
Kristin-Looked the same as usual.
Stephanie looked good with her dress. I don't think she relapsed she just looks real thin. Thinner than before. Hmm…who knows
I hated the ending! After watching every single episode I got a backdrop of a hollywood set? Are you for real? Seriously?!
What did you think?
