Kelly And Her Band Of Burnouts

image via bravotv.com

Each episode of Kell On Earth reminds me of why I will never enter into the seventh circle of fashion hell (I’ll just stick with the fourth).  People’s Revolution represents all that rips apart the human spirit.  The doe-eyed wonders like Stephanie Skinner and Stephanie Vorhees come to the Big City with hopes of “working in fashion.”  After a few months, they soon realize their mistake, but it’s too late.  They’re not eating, not sleeping, and they are wearing all black from the markdown section of H&M.   Why aren’t they wearing Intermix? Where the sod is the sample closet?  All that glitters is not gold, my dear friends.  For the real faces that make fashion tick do not walk the runway.  They yell at people who don’t belong somewhere.  They boss those around who don’t know what they’re doing.  And they keep the bullsh*t to a minimum because there IS NO TIME!

The great thing about Kelly Cutrone is that she embodies all of these traits and more.  But what’s better is that while she might appear cruel, Kelly wants to see her proteges succeed.  So she teaches and yells.  Teaches and yells.  It might just be the formula that creates fashion’s next big bitch.

Also, assistant Andrew M. wore a one-shoulder shirt during one scene.  Perfection.

It’s only a matter of time before a drinking game is made for the number of times Stephanie Vorhees admits that something is all her fault.

Drink 2x every time Stephane Voorhees says someone didn't explain something to her so that's why she didn't do it!
