I’m not gonna lie to you, I’m not pumped that the original is being redone. I recall the days of yore when Kenny Rogers and Diana Ross told us to lend a hand to life, “the greatest gift of all.” It’s a classic and it’s difficult to out-do a classic. Us Magazine reported that on Monday a butt-ton of stars showed up to the Jim Henson studios in Hollywood to re-record the classic. Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson, Nicole Richie, Randy Jackson, Kanye West, Faith Evans, Katharine McPhee, Nicole Scherzinger, Julianne Hough, Will.I.Am., Robin Thicke and Vince Vaughn-not sure why Vince was there. He sings?
Rumored to also be on the track: Sheryl Crow, Miley Cyrus and Lady GaGa.
Watch the original and tell me you see the the likes of Justin Beiber topping these people. Please do the original justice, celebrities. Respect where it all came from, and help raise more money to help out our neighbors in Haiti.
