Happy New Year, peepletons. For me, I give 2009 a B+. 2010 is going to be good, I can feel it. I’m making it “The Year Of Me.”

Things I Liked About 2009:
1) Team Brenda picked up steam in February 2009. You’re welcome.
2) New shows like Glee, Vampire Diaries and Mercy premiered and are plain AWESOME.
3) I got a snuggie from Kris and Rach for my birthday.
4) I read all four books in the Twilight series and they are also plain AWESOME.
5) My interview with Charles Rosin.
6) My trip to LA for the finale taping of The Bachelorette.

Things I Didn’t Like About 2009:
1) Michael Jackson died. Boo.
3) I didn’t start my novel or screenplay. Any day now
4) My dad didn’t buy me a pony for my birthday. Or Christmas. Or Flag Day.
5) I read all four books in the Twilight series and now I’m finished.

Things I’m Thankful For:
1) My readers. You kids are alright by me.
2) Vampires. And Brenda Walsh.
3) My super-duper amazing friends who motivated me to start Team Brenda.
4) Finding something that inspires me to never stop dreaming.
5) My family, if only for the great material they provide.

I wish all my readers (and even the a**holes) a Happy Happerton New Year. 2010 smells like peppermint.

Also, Mary Ellen wants you to have a happy, healthy New Year. Take your vitamins, exercise and take one less drink per day. Also, lower your expectations for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Mike has nothing to say. He used a leaf blower to remove snow on the driveway. We’re concerned.
